Project scope includes but is not limited to addition of a 9,200-square foot EOC with lower level parking and first floor offices. Bid Category 6 includes the following trades: Selective Demolition, Rough and Finish Carpentry, Solid Surfacing Metal Fabrications, Firestopping, Joint Sealants, Hollow Metal Doors and Frames, Flush Wood Doors, Access Doors and Frames, Rolling Counter Shutters, Sectional Overhead Doors, Door Hardware, Mirrors, High Density Polyethylene Toilet Partitions, Corner Guards, Toilet Accessories, Fire Extinguishers and Cabinets, and Clutch-Operator Flexshade Manual Window Shades. As of February 8, 2023, a construction manager has been selected. Construction is anticipated to begin second quarter 2023. Submit all questions about the Procurement Documents to the Construction Manger, in writing, not later than 3 days prior to Bid Date. Please use the attached Pre-Bid RFI form. Replies will be issued to all Bidders of Record as Addenda to the Procurement Documents and will become part of the Contract. The Architect and Owner will not be responsible for oral clarification. Questions received after this time cannot be answered Any questions as to work procedure, scope of the work, project schedules, and similar items can be resolved with a Pre-Bid RFI. All pertinent agreements reached will become a part of the project by written addendum. The Bid Categories are constructed to follow as closely as possible the CSI format of the Contract Documents. However, some Bid Categories may contain more than one specification section and/or parts thereof. B.
