The Corporation of the City of Cornwall is requesting tenders to obtain the services of an experienced and qualified Contractor to provide the operation, maintenance, removal, and disposal services for the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot Programs in the City of Cornwall. As part of the base requirements, the contractor shall: Provide complete and independent operation, maintenance, removal, and disposal services for the Corporations HHW Depot Programs; Receive, screen, sort, categorize, store, and prepare the acceptable Household Hazardous Waste for haulage to its end market(s) or final disposal location(s); Haul or ship the acceptable Household Hazardous Waste from the Depot to the appropriate location(s) for the processing, recycling, recovery, reuse, or final disposal of such acceptable Household Hazardous Waste; Agree to work with the Corporation to meet the parameters outlined under the current MHSW Program Plan or amendments thereof, and; Assume full delegation responsibilities for the City of Cornwall for reporting hazardous waste products (HWP) to Resource Productivity & Recovery Authority (RPRA) The Supplier shall furnish only experienced and qualified personnel and all equipment that is or becomes necessary to carry out the operations in accordance with the provisions of the Contract. All equipment provided must adhere to all relevant federal and provincial government regulations and Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA)'s. Question Deadline: Thu Mar 2, 2023 4:30 PM (EST)
