Pre-Bid Meeting Info: No Pre- Bid Meeting. Whispering Ridge WMA Erosion Repair This Project is Targeted Group (TG) Economically Disadvantaged (ED) Veteran-Owned preference. A. The work will be completed under one prime contract. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Excavation and grading of the eroded ditch to create a uniform trapezoidal channel from the beginning of the eroded channel near the County Road right-of-way to where the eroded channel widens to sheet flow across the remaining flood plain approximately 500 feet south of the county right-of-way. 2. Installing a geotextile liner and riprap chute in the steeper, upstream 90 feet of the newly graded channel. 3. Installing a geotextile liner and riprap stilling basin 4. Installing a riprap weir at the downstream end of the riprap stilling basin to further dissipate the erosive energy of the flowing water of the intermittent stream. 5. Reseeding the disturbed area with the specified temporary cover seed mixture. 6. Providing mulch and disc anchoring over the seeded area as specified. 7. Providing erosion controls as shown on the plans and/or in accordance with MPCA requirements.
