Renovation of a mixed-use development in Somerville, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
West Somerville Neighborhood School Expansion Tank Replacement We encourage diverse businesses to apply! Scope: o Provide new Taco Model CA 800 expansion tank including all associated hardware and lines. o Isolate, drain, disconnect, and remove existing expansion tank. o Temporarily disconnect and relocate air compressor tank to allow for removal of existing expansion tank. o Reinstall air compressor tank and test for leaks after new expansion tank is installed. o Provide and setup rigging equipment which will consist of chain fall. o Rig existing tank out of mechanical room and dispose of properly. o Rig new tank into mechanical room. o Install and connect new tank and pressurize to proper system pressure. o Insulate new tank with 2" think fiberglass jacket. o Delivery and installation must take place during school "off-hours". o One year warranty on all parts and labor. o Please separate Parts and Labor on all invoices. o Awarded vendor must obtain all required permits. o Site Visit shall be held on February 23, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. o All site activities to be coordinated with the city designee.
