Renovation of a water / sewer project in Somerville, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Project Winter Hill School Air Separator Tank Replacement We encourage diverse businesses to apply! Site activities will be coordinated with city's appointed designee. o Hot work permitting will be obtained through local jurisdictional services and uniformed fire detail will be provided while hot work is being performed. o Chilled water system will be isolated and drained below the level of the air separator. o Temporary rigging will be setup, and existing separator will be removed from position. o Contractor will furnish one (1) new Taco air separator which will be rigged into the mechanical room. This includes provision and installation of tank drain with cap and auto-vent with drain tubing to nearest floor drain. o One of two system flanges will be cut and removed, and a new flange will be welded and installed to accommodate new separator. o New separator will be rigged and secured in position of existing. o Following installation, the system will be filled and vented, and integrity of connections will be confirmed. o Tank and disturbed piping will be insulated, including pipe insulation already removed adjacent to the tank. o Demolished tank will be removed and disposed of offsite. o One year warranty on all parts and labor. o Please separate Parts and Labor on all invoices. o Awarded vendor must supply temporary storage for glycol
