For Materials Only for Waterline Construction, Pipe, Valves, Fittings Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 6255 LF of 8" C900 PVC Pipe 300 LF of 6" C900 PVC Pipe 1023 LF of 12" C900 PVC pipe 13 EA Fire Hydrants 19 EA 6" Water Valves 31 EA 8" Water Valves 6 EA 12" Water Valves Various Fittings, Piping, Etc No Pre- Bid Meeting A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Pleasanton or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Pleasanton reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Pleasanton for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
