Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Richland Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Clinton County, State of Ohio, through its Board of County Commissioners, will receive bids for PID 117500 CLI-TR-169-1.97 Borum Rd Bridge Rehabilitation as per specifications. No paper bids will be accepted. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Prevailing wages rates, as determined by the Federal Dept. of Labor, will apply to this project in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Wage Act. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification must be in force at the time of the bid, at the time of the award, and through the life of the construction contact. Subcontractors are not subject to the prequalification requirement. The prime contractor must perform no less than 30 percent of the total original contract price. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities in bids. All questions prior to the letting date shall be directed to the Clinton County Engineer's Office and shall be submitted via the www.bidexpress.com platform. CLI TR 169-1.97: Remove and replace existing superstructure, bridge railing, approach railing, and approach pavement as necessary.
