Des Plaines Community Consolidated School District 62 is accepting bids from contractors for work at CCSD 62 Plainfield Elementary in Des Plaines, Illinois. The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for completion of the work indicated in the Bid Documents including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: demolition, earthwork, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, seal coating, striping, concrete flat work, and landscape restoration associated with the 2023 Pavement Maintenance Project. On-site construction is scheduled to commence in June of 2023. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates for all work performed under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq). The Contractor must be required to submit electronic copies of their certified payrolls to the Engineer with each application for payment. Community Consolidated School District 62 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reject nonconforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedures, or to accept any bid that, in its sole opinion, best serves the interests of the School District.
