Synopsis: The R.M. of Lake Johnston No. 102 (hereinafter R.M. 102) is accepting sealed tenders for gravel crushing and stockpiling in the amount of 40,000 cubic yards of 3/4" gravel. Bid prices shall include the cost of pit run supplied, crushing, extraction fees, hauling costs (if applicable, including any road maintenance fees incurred), and storage (if applicable). Crushing and hauling (if applicable) is to be completed prior to March 15, 2023. The successful bidder must provide a suitable storage site at a reasonable location within R.M. 102 at no additional cost to the bid price and for an indefinite period (an access agreement will be required for storage on any private site) or shall haul the gravel supplied to Parcel A Plan 62MJ06544 (see attached), which is owned by R.M. 102, or the surrounding area owned by the Town of Mossbank and legally described as NE 22-11-29-W2 (R.M. 102 will be responsible for arrangements with the Town of Mossbank). Each tender shall include the following information: - a breakdown of all costs associated with your bid price, to be expressed as a cost per cubic yard, and the total of all taxes that must be added (shown separately); - a copy of a letter of good standing with SK WCB and proof of liability insurance coverage for the bidder and all subcontractors (these will be accepted after contract award but prior to contract start if you are unable to supply this prior to the deadline); Additional Information: The municipality reserves the right to reject materials that do not meet sieve results in accordance with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure gradation Type 110 (see attached) and have the supplied quantity of gravel verified by a third party. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted and R.M. 102 reserves the right to reject any and all tenders. Amendments or clarifications shall be made by way of an addendum posted herein.
