Site work, paving and new construction of a municipal facility in Marion, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
BASE BID: Construct an approximate 7,200 s.f. facility, including site utilities, concrete paving and walks, fencing, foundations, slab-on-grade wood framed structure, roofing, interior finishes, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and ventilating, and electrical. BY ALTERNATE BID NO. 1: Provide cost to add perimeter chain-link fence, sliding gate, and operator. BY ALTERNATE BID NO. 2: Provide cost to add epoxy floor finish and epoxy cove base in spaces designated. BY ALTERNATE BID NO. 3: Provide cost for a complete video surveillance system Bid security in the form of a certified check or bank draft, payable to Williamson County Board of Commissioners, or a satisfactory bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Prevailing wage rates shall apply to work performed in this contract. All workers who perform work at the site will be required to be paid not less than the rates listed by the applicable wage determination. A Project Labor Agreement will be executed for all Contractors performing work on the project. Williamson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive all informalities in the bidding. The contract award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid responsive to the bid conditions.
