Contracts for one year for the following materials or supplies: Reinforced concrete or corrugated steel culverts of various sizes and lengths, arch pipe and multiplate or section pipe, precast concrete bridge decking, bridge steel, various sizes and lengths. Bridge plank and piling to conform to latest SD DOT specification, galvanized bridge hardware, square tube sign posts, hot and cold mix asphalt, per ton; pea rock per ton, sand delivered to Lake Poinsett per ton. Cutting edges, weed chemical,rental or lease of miscellaneous equipment for road construction and maintenance,liquid asphalt road oil per ton, new tires, bid must be one of major brands such as Firestone,Good Year,US Royal,Goodrich or Michelin. Other brand name tires will also be considered. These tires must be 100 level or better. All above materials and supplies must be available for immediate pickup or 24 hour delivery FOB Hayti SD or discount allowed for pickup. A bid bond or certified check will be waived as provided by SDCL 5-18-6-1 for supply products. All bids must be in a sealed envelope stating what service is being bid upon. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects therein. It is the policy of Hamlin County SD not to discriminate on the basis of color, national origin, sex, religion, age or disability in employment or the provision of service.
