As of January 22, 2025, project awarded. The City of Monticello is requesting proposals from qualified firms for engineering services. There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. The City of Monticello shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by the applicant including but not limited to expenses associated with the preparation of the proposal, attendance at the interviews, preparation of a compensation (fees) schedule or final contract negotiations. Interested firms should register by sending an email to Matt Leonard to ensure inclusion on any addenda or additional information provided to interested parties. The contract term will start after City Council approval and is expected to end in with warranty inspection 2 years after construction completion and acceptance. A bid date for this project is scheduled for October 2023 with construction expected to start in the spring of 2024 and to be complete by late summer of 2024.
