Clay County is seeking a licensed and qualified Contractor to remove and dispose dilapidated walls and ceiling components. Work includes, but is not limited to obtaining all locates, permits, labor, inspections, hardware, equipment and providing all materials not specified in this Scope of Work, necessary to remove and dispose of dilapidated components of Exhibit Hall 1. Interior demolition of 464 linear feet of T1-11 siding and wood framing, removal and disposal through metal columns and purlins. Walls are 12 feet tall. Removal and disposal of wall batt fiberglass insulation. Corner utilities room to remain intact. Removal and disposal of 10,000 square feet of ceiling insulation and channeling. Pressure cleaning of exposed walls and ceiling Remove and disposal of four (4) HVAC split units and ducts. Final cleaning. Quotation Deadline: February 22, 2023, 4:00pm It is incumbent upon all Contractors to examine the site and insure that they are aware of all conditions that may affect the Contract work thereon and therein. The County will not be responsible for conclusions made by the Contractor. No claims for additional compensation will be considered on behalf of any Contractor, Sub-Contractor, materials suppliers or others on account of that person's failure to be fully informed of all requirements of all parts of this bid. Final completion shall be obtained by March 20, 2023. The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past final completion date set by the contract.
