Site work and paving for a road / highway in Allenhurst, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment & labor for the repair & overlay of Davis Street & Salette Street. Work includes the repair of failed pavement sections, a complete asphalt overlay of Davis Street & Salette Street & the reconstruction of the roadway shoulders. The length of the project is 0.78 miles. Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid. All bids shall he accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Town of Allenhurst, in the amount of at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work. Each bond shall be equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Town of Allenhurst as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
