The bidder shall submit a project plan using the design standards below that is in compliance with all applicable HUD, EPA, and State of Illinois regulations as well as all local building and zoning codes. The plan must include a clear project timeline and budget with line item costs. This project will be bid a for a complete electrical house package, from the start to the finish. Will need to wire a new high efficiency. Receptacle for the new water heater. Require a switch and correct fuse to wire the furnace once the unit has been installed. A discount will need to be installed and wired for the AC on the exterior of the house at the unit's location. Basement is a basic to code rough-in and trim, bare minimum receptacles and lights the will be on one switch. Laundry will be in the basement and need the dryer receptacle to accommodate 220 or 110 for gas dryer. Exterior lights will be added and receptacles to code shall be installed in siding blocks that will be provided and installed by the siding crew per locations. Smoke detectors and CO2 combos will be installed on each level and areas dictated by the electrical code. Need to purchase and install a microwave/fan combo for the kitchen that will recirculate back into the room through internal venting system. The stove receptacle will need to be rough in to accommodate 110 or 220 with a switching breakers and receptacle. Looking for recessed LED can lights installed in the kitchen minimum of 4 units. Bedrooms will need one ceiling fan light combo on a switch. The dining room and living room will need fan light combos switched. The hallway a simple LED ceiling light fixture to meet code lighting egress. The bathroom will need light/fan combo and a LED light over the vanity. Electrical permit before work starts. Alternative specifications shall be considered only if they are clearly justified, cost effective, and meet all project objectives. The contractor shall have 30 days to complete the work from the date of contract signing. Change work orders over the course of the project are strongly discouraged. 1. Bidders must be currently licensed with the Illinois Secretary of State, bonded, and insured. 2. Bidders must have or be able to obtain all applicable licenses and permits in addition to meeting all local, state, and federal requirements to perform requested work. 3. Bidders must have and provide proof of General Liability, Vehicle, and Workers Compensation Insurances and name the City of Rock Island as a Certificate Holder. 4. Bidders must own or be able to rent sufficient equipment to complete the work.
