As of March 6,2024, project was awarded to R.K. Redding Construction, Inc., but awarded amount is not available. This project consists of a new classroom addition and conversion of existing computer labs to kindergarten classrooms. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond made payable to the Cobb County School District, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the proposal price. (Certified Checks Not Acceptable.) The successful offeror will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the Cobb County School District in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price and executed by a Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury Circular 570, latest edition. The Surety Company shall have an A.M. Best Company minimum rating of A with a financial size of VII 7 or better. Bonds must be accompanied by a letter stating the bonding company's current rating for verification before acceptance by the Owner and execution of the formal Owner/Contractor agreement.
