**As of March 31, 2023, project was awarded to Prime Mechanical for $639,950.00 (with 5% added $671,947.50.) 1. Project Description: Relocate heating boilers, cooling chillers, and back up electrical generator from the vacated jail to the adjacent Delta County Courthouse property. 2. Project cost range is not being advertised. Bidders' Questions: Architect will receive bidding questions submitted via email on a Bid Request for Information (BRFI) form only. Send all Bidding RFI forms to: admin@byce.com. Questions need to be received three days prior to bid date and time. Project Substantial Completion date shall be on or before Friday, October 27, 2023. 1. Heating system must be operation by Friday, September 1, 2023. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The scope of project will generally consist of the follow work: A. Relocate heating boilers, cooling chillers and back up electrical generator from vacated (and sold) jail to the courthouse property. B. Remodel a large break room area to create a boiler room and a smaller break room. The newly created boiler room will be fire rated per the construction documents. C. Construct heating plant & install heating units in the courthouse. New boilers are specified but an alternate price is desired to relocate the existing boilers. D. Construct cooling plant and install cooling units in the courthouse. The chiller will be located in a courtyard area and a masonry screen wall will be constructed on three sides enclosing the chiller. E. Design of installation of generator and associated gear on the courthouse site. The generator will be located near the chiller and enclosed with the same screen wall.
