A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Total Base Bid is required. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price will be required. BIDDER hereby agrees to commence WORK under this contract on or before a date to be specified in the NOTICE TO PROCEED and to substantially complete the PROJECT by September 15, 2024 and to finally complete the PROJECT by October 15, 2024. BIDDER further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00) for each consecutive calendar day after September 15, 2024 until reaching substantial completion. BIDDER further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) for each consecutive calendar day after October 15, 2024 until final completion as provided in the Supplementary General Conditions.
