Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Buxton, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Town of Buxton is accepting bids for the immediate demolition of the double wide mobile and filling in of the foundation it sits on at 60 Old Thompson Road (Tax Map 2 Lot 59B) Provide a lump sum bid on the HRA bid form (attached). The successful bidder will enter into a formal contract. Buildings and debris removal must be completed within 30 days of the bid acceptance by the Town of Buxton. Work Scope 1. Debris resulting from the demolition of the mobile home should be directly loaded into 40 yard run off containers or trucks so that it can be readily removed to reduce the possibility of pollution. 2. The Bidder must visit the property and document that in the bid, so they are aware of the extent of the work. The Bidder may have to clear some debris in order to access the home. The outside debris is not part of the scope of this project. Any debris outside of the mobile is to be set aside only to clear room for equipment to maneuver the site to accomplish the demolition. 4. Fill and grade existing foundation with suitable back fill material. 5. All disturbed areas should be mulched with hay 6. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to have the oil tank emptied. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to disconnect the power lines. 7. The bidder must provide the Town of Buxton with proof of liability coverage with the Town of Buxton listed as additional insured under the policy. One million dollars of liability coverage is required. Documentation of liability insurance shall be provided to the Town by the insurance provider. 8. The bidder shall provide proof of Workers' Compensation coverage. 9. One half of the total cost of the project will be paid upon signing the contract for the job. A second payment will be provided once the job is inspected by the Buxton Code Enforcement Officer and approval is received. 10.
