Contractor shall provide, to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve (CDFW, ESNERR): Contractor shall provide all supplies and material needed for water sampling, disinfection, residual monitoring to the CDFW, ESERR, Water System No. CA2702226, Transient Non-Community Water System.
Provide monthly reporting and visual inspection of system. Maintain record. Agreement shall also include quarterly inspection and maintenance of one (1) 10,000-gallon water tank; two (2) domestic wells; one (1) public water supply booster pump room; one (1) 30,000-gallon fire suppression tank with float valve and electric valve; one (1) backflow preventers; and one (1) backup generator. Record inspection and include observations of tank sentiment buildup Annual backflow devices testing and certification. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for any "special sampling", and any unforeseen testing to include but not limited to "type of coliform, turbidity, and "routine/repeat" testing as required by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), Division of Drinking Water, Monterey District Field Operations Branch. The services shall be performed at:
1) CDFW, ESNERR: 1700 Elkhorn Road, Watsonville, CA 95076
2) CDFW Residence R4-50: 1456 Elkhorn Road, Watsonville, CA 95076
3) CDFW Residence R4-51: 1460 Elkhorn Road, Watsonville, CA 95076
4) CDFW Residence R4-52: 1454 Elkhorn Road, Watsonville, CA 95076 Time of Completion: Upon CDFW Approval ( $50,000.00), through January 31, 2026, following notice from the State to the Contractor to commence. License Required: Water Distribution Operator (D1) Certificate or higher and a Water Treatment Operator (T1) Certificate or higher. Or the following: A, or B, or C36, or C55 or D21 with Water Distribution Operator (D1) Certificate or higher anda Water Treatment Operator (T1) Certificate or higher. DVBE participation is not required and is optional. Contractors may receive up to 5% bidding incentive. Contractors certified as Small Business or DVBE Small Business will receive 5% bidding preference. Bidder Bond is waived for this project.
Performance Bond is waived for this project.
Payment Bond is required if applicable. Payment Bond, to accompany the IT, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the IT Sum securing payment for laborers, mechanics, and materials suppliers used on the Work under the Contract
