KMOS Tower Light Replacement Communication made with parties outside of Procurement may result in your solicitation response being disqualified; The bidder shall have as a goal subcontracting not less than five percent (5%) of the awarded contract price for work to be performed of MBE/WBE(s) he University of Central Missouri, hereinafter referred to as Owners, are requesting bids from qualified companies, hereinafter referred to as Vendor(s) for the replacement of its current incandescent tower aviation obstruction lighting system with an LED system at the KMOS Television Tower. KMOS currently operates a white day/red night system, with 7 tiers. The top tier is an antenna mounted FH 306-2 red/white beacon with the remaining 6 tiers consisting of 3-point lighting with steady burning night markers. This system consists of eighteen FTB 225-1 white strobe beacons, twelve FH307-1 red strobe beacons and eighteen steady burning L-810 marker lights. The system was manufactured by Flash Technology.. The tower is located at: 10391 Olive Branch Road, Syracuse, MO.
