Question Acceptance Deadline 03/10/2023 04:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online Yes The City of Wheat Ridge is seeking a qualified contractor to remove the existing pool finish and apply new finish during this year's closure period August 21-September 2. The actual services to be performed will be determined by the City, to include--but not limited to--the following areas: Demolition and removal of Lap pool finish patching and repairs. Substitute process may be approved by owner. Below, "remove" and "existing to remain" are defined for clarity. A. Remove: Remove and legally dispose of items except those indicated to be reinstalled, salvaged, or to remain City property upon owner's request. B. Existing to Remain: Protect construction indicated to remain against damage and soiling during selective demolition. When permitted by the City, items may be removed to a suitable, protected storage location during selective demolition and then cleaned and reinstalled in their original locations. Except for items or materials indicated to be existing to remain, reused, salvaged, reinstalled, or otherwise indicated to remain the City's property, demolished materials shall become the Contractor's property and shall be removed from the site with further disposition at the Contractor's option. The City will occupy portions of the building immediately adjacent to selective demolition area. Conduct selective demolition so that City operations will not be disrupted. Provide not less than 72 hours' notice to City of activities that will affect City operations. Contractor will be expected to manage scheduling efforts in accordance with City activities and operations.
