This contract is for furnishing labor, materials and equipment required to repair two section of concrete box culvert including placement of steel plate, angle iron, concrete anchorage, reinforcement bar, concrete and hot mix asphalt. The work to be done is located near 11 Bayview Street in the City of San Rafael, California within the County of Marin. The Contractor performing work under this contract shall possess a Class A Contractor's license which is valid in the State of California at the time the contract is awarded. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to labor Code section 1725.5 (with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a). No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
