Vest Street Marshall, Missouri 65340 United States The intent of this project is to remove the existing damaged and deteriorating railroad tie walls along the hillside east of Field #4 (third base line), grade hillside, construct new modular wall system with drainage, and install guardrails at walls over 30" in height. These improvements are intended to ensure the integrity of the walls and slope, and to provide better spectator seating, maintenance access, and emergency vehicle field access. The scope of work for bidding will need to include the following items, but not limited to: o Remove and dispose of existing railroad tie walls within the limits of demolition, including any associated construction and materials that is associated with the removal of the walls. Railroad ties must be disposed of at a certified landfill. Proof of disposal in a certified landfill will be required by FEMA. o Grading of hillside to align with the attached concept design documents. Grading in front of lower wall section must facilitate emergency vehicle access. o Missouri sealed engineer's drawings for proposed wall design, including wall reinforcement details. o Drainage system behind walls per selected wall manufacturer and daylight drains beyond field of play. o 42" height black metal guardrails at walls over 30" height with sealed shop drawings submittal for approval. Guardrail and installation per code and approved methodology from wall manufacturer. o Construction of all walls, drainage, guardrails, and associated site restoration. o A conceptual view of the wall design from the wall manufacturer.
