A general description of the work involved is streambank excavation and re-shaping, including re-meandering to create new channel and "oxbow" areas, as well as constructing wetland areas. The stabilization measures to be installed include vegetated rock toe, in-stream rock substrate areas, stream barbs, and pre-cast modular retaining walls. The work will also involve tree removal, adjusting storm sewers, installing pre-cast culverts, planting native vegetation, and performing maintenance and monitoring during establishment.
