The Housing Authority of the County of Lackawanna Capital Fund Department Phase 2 Siding Replacement at the Taylor Development PA38-12 This invitation is extended by the Housing Authority of the County of Lackawanna for the construction of the described project. Sealed bids are invited for a single prime contract for new siding at Taylor Site, Taylor, PA. The Housing Authority of the County of Lackawanna in accordance with Title IV of the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1964, notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that they will be afforded full opportunity to submit Bids in response to this invitation and that no person will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration of an award. Attention is called to Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968; Section 3 helps create employment for low-income people or that provide employment to low-income people. Description of Work: The work of this project generally includes removal of existing siding and the provision of new siding per plan and spec. The bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of (10%) of the Bid amount, made payable to H.A.C.L. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities in the Bidding.
