The City of Hampton hereby requests proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide engineering services for an anticipated $600,000 FFY 2021-2022 Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the neighborhood revitalization program category that may fund water well construction and related activities. Engineering services will include project design, construction observation, and related services. Proposals will be considered on an equal competitive basis using the following criteria: (1) Successful engineering experience: Max. 30 points; (2) Proposed approach: Max. 25 points; (3) Engineering experience with rural communities: Max. 25 points; (4) Qualifications of project staffing: Max. 15 points; (5) Ability to stay within the project budget: Max. 5 points. In accordance with Chapter 287.133(2)(a), Florida Statutes, a person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a proposal.
