Renovation of a municipal facility in Rison, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
A Five Percent (5%) Corporate Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Shall Accompany All Submitted Bids on Construction Contracts That Exceed $20,000.00 in Accordance With Aca 22-9-203. Bidders Must Comply With All Requirements of Contractors Licensing Laws of the State of Arkansas, Act 150 of 1965, as Amended, and Arkansas Code 22-9-204 Section 3.6(a). A Performance and Payment Bond, Equal to the Amount of the Contract, and Issued by a Surety Approved by the Owner and Authorized to Do Business in the State of Arkansas Will Be Required of the Successful Bidder. Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 22-9-203, the Owner Encourages All Small, Minority, and Women Business Enterprises to Submit Bids for Capital Improvements. Encouragement is Also Made to All General Contractors That in the Event They Subcontract Portions of Their Work, Consideration is Given to the Identified Groups. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Formalities.
