Jones & Sons, Inc., awarded amount is $1,335,853.80.** All of the work to be performed is within the Town of Windsor and generally consists of civil, structural and landscaping improvements at Michael A. Hall Park (Hall Park) near the intersection of Camelot Drive and Cricket Ct. Work generally includes construction of a multi-use storm water detention basin and a water quality bioretention swale, installation of new storm drain systems including reinforced concrete pipe, associated PCC structures and associated saw cutting and utility trenching, backfill and asphalt pavement, coordination with existing underground utilities, adjustment of existing utility boxes to grade, coordination with utility companies for utility relocation and associated work within the project site, Portland cement concrete flat work, landscaping, and new irrigation and planting of oak trees previously removed by the Town for this project. Other miscellaneous improvements, among others, include paving, signing, striping construction of ADA sidewalk ramps, and traffic control/public notification and coordination. The Contractor should familiarize itself with the local conditions of the project sites during the bid period. Failure to do so will in no way relieve him of the responsibility for performing any of the work or required bid walk as a part of this contract. The check or bidder's bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the contract, if awarded to him, in conformity with the contract documents and shall provide the statutory faithful performance bond, and labor and materials (payment) bond for 100% of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of said contract, said bonds to be provided within ten (10) days, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, after notification of the award of the contract to the bidder.
