The project consists of the following principal items: 1. 4" Concrete Sidewalk Removal and Replacement 2. 6" Concrete Driveway Removal and Replacement 3. Concrete Curb & Gutter and Gutter Removal and Replacement 4. All Miscellaneous Work Required to Complete the Project The work shall be completed by October 15, 2023. Each bid is to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and is to be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Finance Director. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executed by the BIDDER as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this State or a certified or cashiers check in a sum equal to $50.00, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract be awarded to the BIDDER, the BIDDER will execute and affect a contract in accordance with the terms of the BIDDER'S bid and provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner or a certified or cashier s check in a sum equal to $500.00 The Bid Bond and Contractor's License Renewal Certificate shall be submitted in a separate envelope attached to the outside of the bid envelope. BIDDERS must be licensed for the highest amount of their bid. Each Bid shall be marked on the outside of the envelope, the date of the proposal, the name of the Bidder, and acknowledgment of any Addendums that were received. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold bids for a period not to exceed 30 days from said date of opening of bids.
