The selected consultant firm (Consultant) must include a professional engineer licensed in the state of California with the ability and experience to provide comprehensive technical study and mapping that Office of the Director of Public Works Page 5 of 27 addresses the City concerns as specified in this Request for Proposal. The Consultant must demonstrate the capacity to work with City representatives, citizens, professional service consultants, designers and engineers, and construction companies related to the Project. The Project study area incorporates all City of Sausalito jurisdictional boundaries. 1. Development of a preliminary plan for the installation of bike facilities on either side of Bridgeway Boulevard from Princess Street to 2nd Street which include several alternatives to be discussed with the various interested groups and the public. 2. Development Plans Specifications and Estimates for the project to be utilized for construction if the City decides to move forward with the construction of the project. Questions regarding this RFP or the Project may only be submitted in writing to Kevin McGowan, via e-mail at kmcgowan@sausalito.gov, attention BRIDGEWAY BIKE LANE DESIGN AND OUTREACH, PRINCESS ST. TO 2ND ST. by March 9, 2023. No oral statements by any City employee or representative will be binding against the City. The Proposer shall be available to work as many hours as required to complete the Services immediately upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed issued by the City and must complete each task in a timely manner.
