This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is being issued by the City. The City currently owns two (2) parcels of land totaling 7.5 acres, on which various citrus-producing trees were planted between 1993 and 1998. Since the inception of the groves, the City has contracted both for grove management and grove maintenance. The goal of grove management has been to ensure healthy, high- yield groves fulfilling maximum revenue returns. As the groves are in highly visible City entry corridors or in neighborhoods, grove maintenance responsibilities must ensure grove aesthetics, health and hygiene, and stormwater compliance, while also meeting service levels expected by residents and other members of the public. The length of this Agreement shall be for approximately two (2) years and two (2) months beginning April 5, 2023, through June 30, 2025. The Agreement may be extended for up to three (3) additional one-year terms for a maximum agreement length of up to five (5) years. The option to renew may be by mutual agreement between the City and the selected Contractor.
