Compensation Type: Cost Plus Fixed Fee Agreement Q&A deadline: 02/24/2023 11:00 AM County(s): WASHOE Environmental and Engineering Services for the I-80 Verdi - Bridge Replacements Project The Department is seeking to hire one firm to complete the preliminary design and all work associated with successful completion of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, required for removal and reconstruction/replacement of eight bridge structures along Interstate 80 (I-80) near Verdi, in Washoe County. The Service Provider will perform the studies, and all documentation and outreach necessary to meet NEPA requirements, develop project design, and complete all related environmental reviews, permitting, and clearances for these structures which have been identified as priority bridge replacements in the state of Nevada. Service Provider will be responsible for identification of potential constructability issues and/or challenges, and development of potential strategies for mitigation to minimize impacts to the environment, local residents, and the traveling public, while ensuring timely project delivery.
