**As of May 13, 2023, project was awarded to Karvo Companies, and the awarded amount is $2,385,403.07.** The proposed work consists of the construction of approximately 2.38 miles of five (5) foot class C concrete sidewalk, storm improvements, ADA curb ramps, lighting upgrades, intersection improvements and signing along E. Streetsboro Street (SR 303) between N. Hayden Parkway and Stone Road and Stow Road between E. Streetsboro Street and the entrance to Hudson Springs Park. The project plans are separated into two plan sets, but are considered one contract. The project also includes driveway improvements, curb installation, necessary grading and restoration, water quality improvements and pavement repairs in the City of Hudson, Ohio, Ohio, in accordance with the specifications which are on file in the office of the City Engineer. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site and understand the limits of the project and existing conditions. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the ORC, in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson. In the case of disruption of national communications or loss of services by online within two hours prior to the deadline for submission of bids, the City will delay the deadline for bid submissions to ensure the ability of potential bidders to submit bids. If this occurs, instructions will be communicated to potential bidders.
