Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Calera, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The work to be performed includes all work necessary to construct the work associated with the various disciplines as shown and described in the plans and specifications. In general, the project consists of the construction of a 15,050 square foot building. The work associated with this bid shall consist of all work necessary to prepare and construct the building. There will be a deductive alternate to eliminate the electrical scope from the project. The City shall be responsible for the site preparation and shall prepare the site to subgrade elevations. The City of Calera will provide water, sewer and natural gas service to within five feet of the building. Continuation of utilities into the building shall be the Contractor’s responsibility. The Contractor shall be responsible for excavating associated with the building’s foundations.
