The work on this contract generally consists of the following: i. Furnishing and installing a 1,000 kW standby generator, fuel system, automatic transfer switch ii. Modifications to the existing electrical building to interface with the new standby power equipment iii. Constructing a concrete support pad for the generator iv. All other associated piping connections and electrical work v. Restoration of all staging and/or material handling areas The work shall be performed in accordance with the approved construction documents. All materials and shop drawings shall be submitted for review by the Engineer of Record. Additional work may be requested by the DISTRICT to be performed as negotiated based on pricing provided in this bid, as well as other items as deemed commensurate for the requested scope of work. The DISTRICT will require a Bid Security/Bond and a Public Construction Bond on this project.
