The fire protection systems include fire suppression, sprinklers, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and other fire protection equipment that work in tandem to protect against fire. The services also include monitoring, testing, and inspection of the fire alarm systems, and maintenance and repair work of such systems. Work locations will be at various SFPUC owned facilities throughout the counties of San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne. Each prospective Applicant must have both a Class C-10 (Electrical Contractor) and a C-16 (Fire Protection) California Contractor’s licenses that are current, active and in good standing with the California Contractors State License Board (“CSLB”). The scope of work entails fire protection and fire alarm systems services in various SFPUC owned facilities. Accordingly, the LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement for this Master Agreement will be set at the CSO level. In accordance with Administrative Code Chapter 14B requirements, all Contractors shall submit documented good faith efforts for each CSO quotation submittal.
