Summit County Government is receiving sealed bids for the SCP23-15 Rec Path and Roadway Pavement Markings. This project includes the following items of work: Annual painting and stenciling of roadway and rec-path marking's. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who best meets the requirement of Summit County and the public interest. The Summit County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to conduct such investigations or negotiations as it deems necessary to select the most responsible and responsive bid. Wednesday 3/1/2023 Deadline for all Questions Various Recreation Path Crosswalks Approximately 325' of 10" wide white transverse crosswalk bars (2 - 10" wide transverse white bars running perpendicular to the road for the full width of the roadway) at six recreation path/roadway intersections located throughout the County (Gateway Dr, Peak One Dr, Alpensee Dr, Montezuma Rd, Giberson and Heaton Bay CG). Eight 4' STOP word stencils and eight stop bars (24" wide X 5' white bar running perpendicular to the recreation path for the full width of the stopped lane on the recreation path). 2 each at Gateway Dr, Peak One Dr, Alpensee Dr, and Montezuma Road. Approximately 90' of 2' wide crosswalk bars (9 - 10' long x 2' wide crosswalk bars perpendicular to the Recpath surface) at the intersection of Goodale Road and Swan Mountain Keystone Approximately 110 linear feet of 10" wide white transverse crosswalk bars at recreational pathways crossings on Lake Ridge Circle. 1200 linear feet of 8" wide white edge striping, 7 bicycle symbols and 7 directional arrows on West Keystone Road, west of Mountain House Base Area Approximately 2000 lineal feet of 6" white striping, 8 bicycle lane symbol markings and 8 directional arrow symbol markings located in Mountain House Base Area. Approximately 20 shared lane symbol markings on East Keystone Road between Mountain House and Ida Belle Drive Swan Mountain Road Approximately 200 linear feet of 10" white striping on 4 crosswalks (2 - 10" wide transverse white bars running perpendicular to the road for the full width of the roadway) at recreation path/roadway intersections located on Swan Mountain Road. Four 4' STOP word stencils and four stop bars (24" wide X 5' white bar running perpendicular to the recreation path for the full width of the stopped lane on the recreation path) at 2 crosswalks on Swan Mountain Road. 2 each at the crossing of Swan Mtn Road to the NE of Sapphire Point, and 2 each at the Recpath crossing of Swan Mtn Road at Summit Cove Approximately four 8' bicycle crossing symbols and four 8' "XING" words on Swan Mountain Road. Approximately 10 shared lane symbol markings from Sapphire Point west to Highway 9. Approximately 7 bicycle lane symbols and 7 directional arrows from Hwy 9 east to Sapphire Point outside of the rumble strip Approximately 5 bicycle lane symbols and 5 directional arrows at the transition from Red Painted RecPath to designated shoulder on the west end of Swan Mountain Road. Approximately 550' of 10" white striping on the south edge of the red painted Recpath and both edges of the crosswalk on Goodale Road Huron Road Approximately 1300' of 10" white edge striping delineating the red painted Recpath from the roadway. Approximately 15 bicycle lane marking and 15 pedestrian lane markings on the red painted Recpath. Approximately 50' of 2' wide crosswalk bars (5 - 10' long x 2'wide crosswalk bars perpendicular to the Recpath surface) at the red painted Recpath crossing of Huron Road. Summerwood Approximately 175 linear feet of 10" wide white edge line striping delineating the recreational pathway crossing. 2 bicycle lane symbol marking and 2 directional arrow symbols. Two 4' STOP word stencils and two stop bars (24" wide X 5' white bar running perpendicular to the recreation path for the full width of the stopped lane on the recreation path). Snake River Recpath Two 4' STOP word stencils and two 5' stop bars, 24" wide for the full width of the stopped lane of the Snake River Recpath to the east and west of the intersection with Swan Mountain Road. Approximately 120' of 2' wide crosswalk bars (12 - 10' long x 2' wide crosswalk bars perpendicular to the Recpath surface) at the intersection of Highway 6 and Swan Mountain Road. Dillon Dam Road Recpath Approximately 8 bicycle lane symbols, 8 pedestrian lane symbols, and 8 directional arrows on the Red Painted Recpath along Dillon Dam Road Approximately 2700' of 10" white edge striping along the red painted Recpath on Dillon Dam Road
