The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: Landscape Maintenance Services for Neighborhood Parks and Facilities in the City of Irvine The CITY is subject to the provisions of law relating to public contracts in the State of California. It is agreed that all provisions of law applicable to public contracts are a part of this Agreement to the same extent as though set forth herein, and will be complied with by CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR shall abide by all applicable Sections of the California Labor Codes including Sections 1770 -1781, et seq. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1773 of the California Labor Code, the general prevailing rates of per diem wages and holiday and overtime work in the locality in which the Work is to be performed shall be in accordance with the rates posted on the Department of Industrial Relations website. The CONTRACTOR, and any subcontractor under him, shall pay not less than the specified prevailing rates of wages to all workers employed in the execution of this Agreement. Bid Bond- 10.00% Payment Bond- 100.00% Performance Bond- 100.00% CONTRACT TERM: It is anticipated that the contract shall commence on or about July 1, 2023, and shall continue through June 30, 2028. Project Duration-Five year term Prime Contractor must possess a valid C-27 Contractors License at the time of submitting the bid, the Bidder shall be licensed as a contractor in accordance with the provisions of California Business and Professions Code Chapter 9, Division 3. Prevailing wage requirements apply to public works projects with a value exceeding $1,000.00. The definition of "public works" is found at Labor Code Section 1720, et seq.
