Overview The Town of Hyde Park is seeking a graphic designer to assist in designing a "Welcome to North Hyde Park" image that will be produced and placed in three locations. NOTE: Fabrication and Installation of Signs is not part of this RFQ. The designer will utilize historical information, planning studies, and review public comments to assist during the design process. Two or more options for a North Hyde Park image will be used for the Welcome Sign that will be developed later. The consultant will attend North Hyde Park public meetings. These meetings will consist of consultant research presenting examples of Vermont village welcome signs, North Hyde Park residents input, and the three or more sign design options at meetings for public feedback. To conclude this project, the consultant will incorporate Gihon Valley Hall Committee and general public feedback, and fabricator feedback, to create three or more image options, which may be ranked by the GVH Committee. Acceptance of one design will then be voted on by the Town Planning Commission to conclude this project and begin the installation phase. Consultant selection by: March 27, 2023 Selection Process Qualifications will be reviewed by Gihon Valley Hall Committee, a committee comprised of representatives from North Hyde Park. A short-list of consultants will be selected to submit detailed proposals for the project with a project approach, scope of services, schedule, and budget with details on staffing, hourly costs and overhead.
