The work to be performed for this project consists of replacement of the force main connected to the Lift Station 3 and other Lift Station 3 Improvements. This will include the construction of approximately 3,900 LF of replacement 12-inch HDPE force main, recoating the existing dry pit and wet well, replacement of, lift station components, installation of a new flow meter vault, connection to the existing force main, as well as restoration such as asphalt surfacing. 100 working days in the contract The Engineers estimated cost of the project is $2,320,000 Question Deadline 03/09/2023 Requests for an interpretation of the bid or Contract Documents and any other questions must be directed via email to Eric Delfel, P.E. at Gray & Osborne, Inc., edelfel@g-o.com, within 3 working days of the bid opening date and time. The work specified in this Section consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of approximately 3,900 linear feet of 12-inch HDPE force main from the existing force main to the lift station site, demolition of an existing 10-inch force main, installation of a flow meter vault, and associated restoration work. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: A. Mobilization. B. Installation of TESC measures. C. Installation of traffic control measures. D. Sawcut and removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement. E. Installation of approximately 3,900 LF of 12-inch DR 11 HDPE force main and 12-inch ductile iron force main. F. Demolition of approximately 3,900 LF of existing 10-inch cast iron force main. G. Installation of a new flow meter vault. H. Connections of the new force main to the existing system. I. Recoating the existing wet well. J. Installation of Owner supplied impellers, volutes, check valves, plug valves, and suction plates. K. Recoat interior of dry well. L. Surface restoration, including HMA trench repair, striping, traffic loop repair, and driveway repair. M. Demobilization, clean up and record drawings. N. All work as described in the plans and specifications herein.
