Renovation of a mixed-use development in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier's check or the bid bond of an approved Surety Company, in an amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the proposal and a Noncollusion Affidavit . Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of the "Ferndale Area School District." No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Specifications and drawings that are requested by the Contractor to be shipped, will be sent via UPS for an additional cost of fifty ($50.00) dollars. All requests for information shall be submitted in writing to the office of the Engineer at jweiland@hflenz.com on or before 5:00 p.m. local prevailing time March 8, 2023. Requests for information will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on March 8, 2023. Electronic Contract Documents are for viewing ONLY. No electronic document files are to be provided to contractors for bidding. ALL contractors interested in bidding the project MUST request bid documents directly from H.F. Lenz Company. Please email kmuha@hflenz.com for bidding documents, no phone calls please. Work shall be started on the project not later than ten (10) days after notification by the Owner or Engineer to start work. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids, or to reject any or all bids.
