Notice is hereby given that Portage Township Schools (PTS) will receive sealed bids for proposals for outdoor fiber construction or services provided over third party networks for the purpose of connecting buildings on its campus to its network head-end, located at Portage High School, 6450 US HIGHWAY 6, PORTAGE, IN 46368. Bidders are advised that this project will be contingent upon district approval and the successful obtaining of E-Rate funding and the contract agreement between the school district and the successful bidder must recognize that contingency. The inbox receipt time shall determine when a bid is received. Bids will be opened and tabulated at that hour at the Administration Office for Portage Township Schools at 6240 U.S. Highway 6, Portage, Indiana 46368. RFP will be accompanied by the E-rate Form 470 #230017139. The Board of School Trustees of Portage Township Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. In the event that a responsible bid is not received or if it is determined that the low bid received is too high, the bid received will be rejected and the project will be cancelled or re-bid. Bids may not be withdrawn during the sixty (60) day period immediately following the date of receipt of the bids without the consent of the District.
