The City of Hudson plans to apply for the upcoming 2023-2024 Texas Community De- velopment Fund from the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Program of the Texas Deparment of Agriculture (TDA). Accordingly, the City is seeking to contract with a qualified Engineering Firm or Individu- al to prepare all preliminary and final design plans and specifications, and to conduct all necessary interim and final inspections. These services are being solicited to assist theCity in its application preparation and project implementation of a TxCDBG con- tract, if awarded, to support its infrastructure systems which could include water improve- ments, sewer improvements, street improve- ments and/or drainage improvements or similar infrastructure projects in the City of Hudson. Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. The city of Hudson is an Affirma- tive Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. The City reserves the right to negotiate with and all individuals or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
