This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Pocatello, Idaho. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
1.Provide and complete vehicle repair services, preventative vehicle maintenance services and vehicle cleaning/washing services within twenty-four (24) hours (excluding weekends or holidays https://sos.idaho.gov/state-holidays/) from the time the Contract Monitor, Hub Manager, or Car Coordinator calls for service to the time of delivery of the serviced vehicle back to the Department. If the Contractor deems it necessary to have a longer service time due to unforeseen repairs or parts that need to be ordered, the Contractor must notify the Contract Monitor or Hub Manager immediately and a new timeline must be mutually agreed upon for the service to be completed. 2.Facilitate the pickup of vehicles and drop off to the same location: a.Vehicle compound at 421 Memorial Drive, Pocatello, Idaho. b.Vehicle compound at 1070/1090 Hiline Drive, Pocatello, Idaho. c.Vehicle compound at 701 E Alice, Blackfoot, Idaho. 3.Provide the facilities, tools, diagnostic scanning software, necessary products, and individuals to provide professional services for each vehicle in the service area. 4.Not smoke in any Department fleet vehicle. 5.Maintain an office and shop located within a five (5) mile radius of the Pocatello city limits and must staff the local office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time during normal State of Idaho business days. For state holidays see https://sos.idaho.gov/state-holidays/. 6.Ensure that all repair work done on Department vehicles is completed by industry certified staff with current certification from Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or equivalent. 7.Have been in business providing services similar to the specifications required in this ITB for a minimum of seven (7) years. B.For any repair being charged under this Contract, labor hours and parts cost must be in amounts equal to the hours and parts cost determined by the most current version of the industry standard software, Mitchell 1 Estimator. Charges not meeting this standard software must be credited to reflect such standard. Questions or other correspondence must be submitted in writing to the ITB Lead listed below. QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59:59 P.M. Mountain Time ON THE DATE LISTED IN THE ITB ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION. Written questions must be submitted using Attachment 1, Bidder Questions. Official answers to all written questions will be posted on IPRO as an amendment to this ITB. The State will not consider proposed modifications to these requirements after the date and time set for receiving questions. Questions regarding these requirements must contain the following: 1.The rationale for the specific requirement being unacceptable to the party submitting the question (define the deficiency). 2.Recommended verbiage for the State's consideration that is consistent in content, context, and form with the State's requirement that is being questioned. 3.Explanation of how the State's acceptance of the recommended verbiage is fair and equitable to both the State and to the party submitting the question.
