Design and Construction Engineering Services for Clifford Park Pickleball Courts Question Acceptance Deadline 03/13/2023 12:00 AM EDT Questions are submitted online No Delivery Point Lansing, MI Buyers Requirements General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Local Service Required - Safety Standards Plan Award Requirements - All or None Award PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of Lansing (COL) is currently inviting qualified consulting firms to submit proposals for as needed structural, geotechnical and construction engineering services for design and construction oversight services for Clifford Park Pickleball Courts Project. The overall project will be comprised of evaluation of the existing tennis courts site at Clifford Park and the new design of tennis and pickleball courts. The selected consultant will: o perform investigation and design services as required; o prepare bid documents; and o perform construction engineering and inspection for the project. The City reserve the right to modify the following list and the scope of work at any time before or during project implementation. The contract for Engineering Services will be given to one consultant. Consultants shall give a separate staff hour distribution and cost proposal for the entire project. SCOPE OF SERVICES The Scope of Services is the evaluation of the existing tennis courts condition and determine whether revitalizing the currents courts or demolition and construction of new courts, fencing, and handicapped access is feasible and cost effective. The City wants the court layout to be 1 tennis court and 6 pickleball courts. The consultant is also asked to upgrade the parking lot and access to the new courts to be ADA compliant. The consultant shall create plans in the most economical way possible and use the existing as-built drawings for base mapping whenever possible.
