Site work and renovation of a civil project in Kahoka, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Kahoka, Missouri, requests qualifications for engineering design and construction services to assist in a water system improvement project to be financed with ARPA, CDBG, or DNR/SRF grant/loan funds. The project currently contemplated by the City includes improvements to the water treatment facility and the 10" water transmission main from the wells to the distribution system. Information provided to the City must include: a) The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to water system improvements or related work; b) The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in questions, including specialized services, within a period of twelve to eighteen months; c) The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules; d) The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located; and e) References from previous clients of related work with the firm within the past five years. The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost for engineering design and construction services will be negotiated. The ability to begin work immediately plus (c) above shall receive primary consideration. Solicitations from WBE/MBE firms are invited and encouraged. The City will open and review the responses and review them at a time convenient for City personnel.
