The University of Kentucky is requesting the services of a Geotechnical Engineering TEAM to provide a geotechnical survey for the Construct Cancer Treatment Center/Ambulatory Surgery Center project in Lexington, Kentucky. The University of Kentucky Medical Center is undertaking an ambitious plan to construct a new Cancer Treatment Center/ Ambulatory Surgery Center on the Lexington, Kentucky campus. The center will be constructed on the south end of campus, adjacent to the existing medical center. The new center will connect to Pavilion A via an elevated pedestrian bridge over S. Limestone Street. This project further demonstrates the Universities desire to continue to serve the needs of the community, state, and region. It is preferred that the team should be led by a professional engineer licensed in Kentucky. This individual will have the responsibility to plan and schedule the survey, provide the day-to-day management of the survey process, oversee the analysis of the collected data, and generate the final report. The team should be a well-established professional geotechnical consulting firm with expertise in performing this type of work on the scale of this project. Demonstrated experience on a project of this scope and size is required. The team should include any additional sub consultants or subcontractors that would be required to provide a comprehensive survey with an accurate and complete final report.
