You are hereby invited to submit proposals for the Webster Lake boat ramp maintenance dredge at the municipal beach in the City of Franklin, NH. The Webster Lake Association has requested that the boat access be dredged due to silt that has accumulated over time. The City is seeking maintenance dredging to re-establish the design elevations as depicted on the design plans developed by VHB in August of 2022 (the "Design Plans"). The boat ramp is located at 181 Webster Lake Rd, Franklin, NH 03235. The work will be limited to 3,100 sq. ft. dredge area and access through municipal parking lot at the location. The NH Department of Environmental Services Wetlands Bureau has issued a permit for the work. Construction is planned to begin and be completed during the winter/spring 2023 lake drawdown contingent upon project funding. The volume of the dredge is approximately 115 cubic yards. All questions and responses to questions will be shared on the city website as listed above. The City of Franklin reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or parts thereof, to accept the proposal which they deem to be in the best interest of the City of Franklin and to waive any bid formality. The City wishes to begin this work in March 2023 and for work to be complete prior to April 30, 2023. During this period, the City will coordinate with NHDES regarding lake level. As part of your proposal, please provide a detailed schedule and construction sequencing plan. If the lake level is not conducive to this time frame, work can be scheduled for low water in October 2023
