Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Elk Point, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Construction of a FEMA Storm Shelter Each bidder shall submit with his bid a certified check, cashiers check, or bank draft in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) or a bid bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid per the laws of the State of South Dakota. In case the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to enter into an agreement with the City, the amount of the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities to select the bid in the citys best interest. A contract or contracts may be awarded to the company or companies offering the most advantageous proposition to the City of Elk Point. The City of Elk Point reserves the right to reject any/or all bids and to waive any defect or informality if it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Elk Point.
